So just got back from watching Pan's Labyrinth with my class group. Watching for our Film & Society class, which rocks, looking for color usage and lighting, etc. Didn't eat all day except for some toast and jam, so grabbed some grub at Jack in the Box right after. I LOVE Jack's. My absolute favorite fast food joint now. I usually get the same stuff (Breakfast Jack w/ hashbrowns) and this time some of those damn good mini churros that will probably be the end of me. I've never had a problem with the one closest to where I live, unti today. I'm fine with waiting a while, but this time it took almost 20 minutes (and there wasn't even that many people before me) and by the time I got home, the hashbrowns ere seriously charcoal. You could NOT eat them, it tasted like smoke. So now I'm debating whether to complain to the restaurant or not. It's not really a big deal, but it was pretty nasty.

And Pan's Labyrinth....weird but really cool. That child eater thing was uber creepy to the max. I just saw that '5 things I wouldn't want to see at the end of my bed' things on Facebook last night, yea THAT would be one of them. My friend, Ronald, was like 'That's my Comic-Con costume for next year" and I was like "Yea, you culd go chasing all the little kids around XD" That would be so disturbing to see. The Captain was such a dick, I wish he died sooner. When Mercedes stabbed him and slit his mouth, I was like "YEAAAA YOU DESERVE THAT BITCH!!!" and then to Ronald, I wa like "Y SO SRS?" LOL Yea, good time, nice movie, though despressing to think that the little girl pretty much went on a journey for her own demise. So yea I guess it's a interesting way to die, but damn still sucks.

OH and has anyone noticed how creepy that chick looks inthe Palm Pre commercial? Yea add her to that list too!

Just finished watching "On the Way to a Smile: Episode Denzel." I KNEW who that dude was. Totally called that one!  Not gonna say, you'll see. Though it's really pretty obvious. Was cute, and I always like seeing anime reditions of things. Denzel's hair looked a little funky though. Cloud looked cool. And now I'm trying to understand his half-skirt thing he's got going on. But whatever, makes him look badass and that's all that matters right?

Nothing else to say about FFVIIACC other than the last post. Oh, I did like that Zack was a little more involved than before.

I think I'm close to done with i anyways. Stupid PS2 decided to stop playing it after a while. Though....that could have something to do with dropping it about 10 times ACCIDENT I SWEAR DX

Or maybe I should do something productive like draw. Nah, I'm too tired and lazy, needa do something that doesn't take much brain power. Like I have much :P

Yay! My FFVII ACC came today (along with 2 of my textbooks)! It was estimated to arrive on the 6th so I'm really happy. And yes, the first thing I looked at was the FFXIII 'sneak peek' but was dissappointed that it's only another trailer that's already on the net. Shouldn't be surprised really, but I was hoping for a little more. But it is cool to see it on a tv screen, makes the graphics look a lot better.

Btw, what the hell is up with Blu-Ray menus? Why does the text have to be so freakin' small, I can't figure out what I select until it starts up. I know BRs are for the graphics and all, but for menus?

I am watching it at the moment, in English first cause I'm too lazy and tired to read subtitles right now (part where the shadow creature things (athat remind me of demented heartless XD) are terrorizing the city around the statue). Have to say, I was a little skeptical at first, thinking that it really wasn't much different. Yea the story is the same, they pretty much just filled in spots with more dialogue and action, but I think it actually helps a lot more than expected. I think I understand the story a bit more. And the little filler scenes string the story together so there's no 'where did so-and-so go? What happened? How did they get here or there? ' And I was kinda afraid that the parts they added in would look different and throw everything off, but they managed to make it exactly the same, so graphics don't seem too much different, although the lifestream seems to sparkle more (?). And I'm glad for the action, its slightly mor intense and they actually have blood and dirt furing the battle like a real one would, but without the unneccesary full-on gore factor.

Thing I don't get is if they were gonna do this anyways, why not just wait a few years to finish it and then release the full enhanced version? Cheapos tryign to make more money D:<

Oh yea, I don't think I've ver heard Rude talk so much before, that was cool. I love him, he's hilarious. He remids me of Joe from The Princess Diaries XD

Reno makes me laugh...mostly cause he's an idiot, but also now I can't stop thinking of Axel cause of his voice. And speaking of voices, even I have to admit...Vincent's English voice is hot. And I never, ever feel that way about actors or whatever, even animated characters. Oh and plus side, the dialogue's mostly the same but some is edited so it's not so awkward sounding, like when Denzel says "Son of a bitch!", it sounds normal instead of "Son of a ...bitch!"

Lol watching it again, I'm remembering when I first noticed some things, like the Turks jackets are blazers but they have zippers. And I remmeber the first time I watched this movie and at the end Red XIII says something and I was like *gasp* IT TALKS :O (I've never played the game so I have a very vague and basic knowledge of the story and characters and such.

And even thought the audio editing is better, they still really need to work on English dubs. There's just not enough emotion in the dubs. And it sometimes sounds like its forced or the actor is really aware of their voice being recorded and itheir trying too hard to not screw it up or something.

I have never realized until now how much Yazoo creeps me out. Especially in English...which is weird for some reason but it is nonetheless. Kadaj is still a whiney mama's boy, Loz is still a clunky dumbass, and Yazoo...is just...*shudder* I dunno, just something about that dude/chick/person thing.

I swear, Lightning's English voice sounds really familiar. I almost wanna say Jennifer Hale (electra - Cowboy Bebop Movie) but I don't think that's correct. Anyone know who it is yet? And is that blonde kid's (1:48) voice Sora's???? Or is that just wishful thinking?

Listening to my nearly-forgotten Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children soundtrack that I'm ripping to put on my ZU-NE (Yes lame I know, I didn't know what else to name it). Right now, on track 10 "Black Water" and totally forgot that the beginning sounds like the JAWS theme...and now an image o Kadaj lurking around, popping up now and then like a shark, just popped into my head. T__T If I could still draw, I would sketch that right now.

And since I'm on the subject, I don't understand this whole new dvd/bu-ray that's coming out, Final Fantasy Advent Children: Complete. Isn't it pretty much just the movie with a bit more action sequences and slighty better graphics (and now it's also on blu-ray)? Is there anything more to it than that? Oh and I guess there might be more blood? Or someting cause in the trailer that Cloud v. Sephiroth scene was slightly more 'violent'. Which looks really cool, but I don't get the point. Little early to do a remake don'tcha think?

Same goes for the new Fast and Furious?!? WTH If it's just another story in the series, why does it have the same title as the first? Confused! The world is stupid! And I'm bored! Don't listen to me!

So...I'm watching Narnia (L,W,W) on ABC Family, mostly cause nothing's on and I wanted to see it sometime to at least give it a chance. (It was alright, but it's not one for my fave list). Of course, being on tv, it's gotta be interrupted every 2 seconds with 15 minutes of commercials. Eventually, they show the promo for new seasons of Kyle XY (yay! and about time!) and The Secret Life of the American Teenager.....

Ok.....wtf.....

How can they possibly bring crap like that back and NOT Pushing Daisies?!?! SERIOUSLY! Enough with the damn pregnant teens and keep something that's actually original and GOOD for a change.

Yes I actually gave TSLotAT a chance. Yes I watched multiple episodes. And yes I wasted hours of my life doing that. I actually thought the younger sister was kinda cool and decent enough than any other character on the show. There is no shock factor with that show at all.

ABC. You suck.
